IL giardino dei capezzoli

Long term site specific intervention in the public space (Giardino Largo Proprio d’Arianiello, Naples).

The Garden* was born as an artistic process activated in 2022 by the Velato/Svelato GrandTour d’Italie residency curated by Susanna Ravelli. In this context Simona Da Pozzo, begins to follow the tracks created by the image of a suckling sycamore.

These images and worlding led to the vision of ɪʟ ɢɪᴀʀᴅɪɴᴏ ᴅᴇɪ ᴄᴀᴘᴇᴢᴢᴏʟɪ. The project aims to experiment, with a work in progress, with a shift in priorities from human ones toward those of the species that inhabit the Garden*: care actions place the needs of plant species, animals-non-humans (with special attention to pollinating insects) and soil at the center.
