The Madre Museum presents the final instalment of Atlas dei Corpi, the work that artist Simona Da Pozzo has been developing since 2019 centred on the Corpo di Napoli, the monument to the Nile in the historic centre. Over these seven years of work, using collaborative and horizontal methodologies, Simona has initiated process-based interventions with and on the monument, aimed at investigating tangible and intangible heritage by exploring alliances between bodies from a more-than-human perspective.
To mark World Rivers Day and European Heritage Days, a performative gathering will lead participants in the ‘Atlas dei Corpi’ parade towards the monument.
This performance piece involves the organisations and individuals who have contributed to its development over the years.
